Dr. Francisco Lammoglia is an interventional cardiologist with Healient Physician Group.  He specializes in diagnosing and treating diseases or conditions of the heart and blood vessels.   He performs minimally-invasive catheter-based procedures, such as angioplasty and stenting.   Dr. Lammoglia also specializes in arrhythmia or irregular heartbeat conditions where a pacemaker, loop recorder or defibrillator are implanted.

 

Dr. Lammoglia grew up in Miami, Florida.  He completed medical school at the University of Kansas and performed a surgical residency at New York University – Bellevue Medical Center.  His Internal Medicine Residency was at the University of Kansas-Wichita, and his Cardiology Fellowship was at the University of South Florida.   He is board certified in Interventional Cardiology and is a member of the American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology.  His cardiology career began in St. Joseph, MO over 20 years ago.   Dr. Lammoglia was one of the founding cardiologists of St. Joseph Cardiology,  a prominent  practice where he also established several outlying clinics.

 

Dr. Lammoglia is passionate about positively affecting patient’s lives by improving their longevity and quality of life.  He believes in giving back and for the past 15 years, he has participated in a medical mission trip.  In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, sailing and soccer. He is also fluent in Spanish.
